When the body talks
a dance video project merging between contemporary dance, music and thoughts and
feelings by each dancer/collaborator who participating in this project.
A dance video project collecting dancers/collaborators from Cairo and Alexandria, explaining a human
situation by a personal perspective of each one of them in different spaces and places around the cities.
(Un)-identified movements
The creation is a multidisciplinary installation, merging between dance, music and visuals. Un-identified movements aim to create figures comes from dance movements and to create
abstraction of reality. The idea came from the crowd and the traffic that happens daily in Cairo (Egypt) and how we “as people” manage to have the right of walking around, in between and within everything on the street whether if it ’s cars, structures or the people themselves, till the moment I felt that we walking like ghosts. “Un identified movements” give me a random and existential question; how we can live as a half human and half ghost?
